MyLambs Mission
The mission of MyLambs is to enable mothers to have empowered birth
experiences. This supports the Lamaze philosophy of birth which
promotes birth as a normal, natural, and healthy experience that
profoundly affects women's lives.
Who is Garrette Martin-Yeboah, PharmD, LCCE?
A Doctor of Pharmacy and Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator who
became interested in the Lamaze childbirth method with the birth of her
first child.
The Lamaze childbirth education comfort measures and coping
techniques enhanced my confidence allowing me to give birth twice
without medication. I realized through my personal experience that the
body is designed for birth with all of the inherent capability needed to
bring forth life. I want to empower women to learn about childbirth and
utilize the knowledge gained to make informed decisions about their
child's birth with or without the use of medication.
Each birth is vastly different and therefore a woman's decision will vary;
but, childbirth education is a vital key to a positive and empowered birth
experience.
